StevenDouglas is partnering with a client located in NW Houston that is in search of an Interim Staff Accountant. This is a 6+ month engagement, onsite 5 days a week initially with a transition to a hybrid schedule once ramped up.

Responsibilities:

- Perform account reconciliations for an assigned business unit
- Support the build-out of a shared services approach to account reconciliation
- Partner with finance and accounting teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reconciliations
- Potential to expand into broader senior accounting responsibilities as the engagement progresses

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with OneStream is a plus
- Strong account reconciliation background
- Comfortable working onsite initially with flexibility for a hybrid schedule over time
