Pay Rate: $36.00 - $40.00 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days offsite based on business needs) – Day Shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Summary of the Role:

\n
BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our client’s site in Tempe, AZ. This role will support sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating materials, equipment, and services from approved vendors. The position is responsible for evaluating supplier capabilities, pricing, and performance to ensure best value or lowest price/technically acceptable while maintaining compliance with government regulations, including FAR/DFARS.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in accordance with company policies and government regulations (FAR/DFARS).
- Analyze vendor quotes, proposals, and service offerings to identify the most cost-effective and compliant solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value.
- Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships to support quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
- Ensure procurement activities follow established procedures, internal controls, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Working knowledge of government procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS).
- Ability to follow established processes and operate effectively under supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
