Litigation Associate

$205,000 to $245,000

CarterWill is looking for multiple candidates with NYC litigation experience and familiarity with the state and federal courts in New York. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in all aspects of complex commercial litigation, including:
- Drafting pleadings, motions and briefs; taking and defending depositions;
- Attending court conferences and hearings;
- Arguing motions; conducting legal research;
- Preparing and responding to discovery;
- Handling day-to-day case management;
- Participating in trial preparation.
New York judicial clerkship experience is a plus. Experience or interest in fiduciary litigation, particularly in New York State Surrogate Court, is a plus.

Position Requirements
- 2-4 years of demonstrated New York litigation experience

- Commitment to learning and developing into an integral member of New York litigation and complex commercial litigation practice New York judicial clerkship experience is a plus
