BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Contract Specialist / Jr Accounting in Phoenix, AZ 85007
Position Title: Contract Specialist / JR Accounting
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85007
Shift Timing: Mon-Friday 40.00 Hours Per Week
Anticipated Start Date: 1-2 Weeks
Duration: 12 Months Contract with the Possibility to be Extended
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr on W2
Hybrid Schedule – Candidates must be available to work onsite a minimum of two days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Administration
• Support administration and management of engineering consultant and construction-related contracts.
• Review contract documentation to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Monitor contract activities and assist with contract-related reporting.
• Maintain accurate contract records and documentation.
• Support procurement and contract management processes.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience and knowledge of construction contracts.
• Experience reviewing and approving payment reports and invoices.
• Knowledge and understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Understanding of budget management and expenditure tracking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Google applications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
Work Arrangement:
• Hybrid Schedule – Candidates must be available to work onsite a minimum of two days per week.
• Local Phoenix-area candidates only.
• Must be available for in-person interviews within one week of posting closure.
• Must be able to start within two weeks of receiving an offer.
