NOW HIRING!! A-Line is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Vaccine Immunizer for a full-time, short-term assignment supporting seasonal vaccination efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys direct patient care, community health, and helping improve public health through immunization services.
This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment focused on preventative healthcare.

Full-Time | Short-Term Assignment | Monday–Friday | No Weekends
Details
- Assignment Dates: Approximately September 8 – November 13
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch (1:30 PM – 2:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- No weekends required
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and immunization screenings.
- Verify vaccination eligibility, medical history, and required documentation.
- Safely administer assigned vaccines following established clinical protocols and medication administration standards.
- Complete accurate Vaccine Administration Records (VAR) and all required clinical documentation.
- Educate patients on recommended vaccinations and answer questions regarding immunization services.
- Promote vaccination awareness and engage patients during slower appointment periods.
- Provide professional, compassionate patient care while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and communicate any concerns appropriately.
- Coordinate with clinic staff and healthcare partners to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation using computer systems and clinical software.
- Report patient status and care needs during transitions between healthcare team members.
- Support daily clinic workflow while maintaining compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Participate in assigned on-call responsibilities if required.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous vaccination or immunization experience preferred.
- Ability to commit to the full assignment from September through November.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume vaccination clinic environment.
