The Fire Alarm Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and functionality of fire alarm systems within a medium-sized team of 4-10 technicians. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves on-site work with minimal travel and offers opportunities for certification training and career advancement into supervisory positions.
Responsibilities
- Install fire alarm systems according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure system reliability
- Conduct system testing to verify functionality
- Troubleshoot and repair system faults promptly
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in fire alarm installation and repair
- NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems
- Strong skills in system troubleshooting and electrical wiring
- Effective problem-solving and time management abilities
