Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Manawa, Wisconsin. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide technical assistance and support to end-users in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and proficiency with hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft applications and operating systems.
• Configure, maintain, and repair PC hardware, printers, laptops, and other devices.
• Prepare and set up equipment for new users, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
• Perform imaging tasks to deploy operating systems and software efficiently.
• Manage inventory, including tagging assets and maintaining accurate service records.
• Utilize the ServiceNow ticketing system to track and resolve user requests effectively.
• Provide technical support to a diverse group of end-users, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Oversee and maintain approximately 80 iPads in circulation within the organization.
• Deliver high-quality customer service by addressing user concerns with patience and professionalism.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and reliable IT support across the facility.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft applications and operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of PC hardware, including configuration and repair.
• Familiarity with imaging processes for deploying operating systems and software.
• Experience with inventory management and asset tagging.
• Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow ticketing system or similar platforms.
• Ability to provide technical support to hundreds of end-users in a demanding environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
