PYA Waltman Capital, LLC is seeking Financial Planning Interns to join our Knoxville office in Summer 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a student in an academic program to gain meaningful work experience at our privately-owned and dynamic professional services firm.
POSITION TYPE:
- Hours per week: Up to 40 hours a week
- Two months: June 2027 and July 2027
- Housing provided for out-of-state students
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interest in pursuing a career in Financial Planning and/or Wealth Management
- Pursuit of a bachelor degree in financial planning or finance preferred
- Polished professionalism including a positive attitude
- Computer savvy with experience using Excel
- Self-starter, takes initiative
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Possess strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility with a positive “can do” attitude
- Effective team player with a high level of integrity
