Were looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics on one of the nations most visible public-facing systems. Youll analyze large-scale clickstream, event, and user-journey data to identify friction points and improve digital experiences for millions. This is a hands-on technical role where your code, models, and insight will directly inform product and policy decisions.
What Youll Do
- Build analytical frameworks for funnel, path, and time-to-completion modeling.
- Design and deploy Python pipelines using pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels, and Spark or Databricks.
- Apply regression, clustering, survival analysis, and causal inference to understand user behavior.
- Partner with UX and product teams to translate data findings into design recommendations.
- Create interactive visualizations (Plotly Dash, Power BI, Tableau) for leadership insights.
- Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and privacy compliance within secure cloud environments.
What Were Looking For
- 5+ years in data science, analytics, or applied statistics.
- Strong coding in Python and SQL; experience with big-data tools (Spark, Snowflake, Databricks) preferred.
- Deep knowledge of behavioral, funnel, or clickstream analytics.
- Solid grounding in statistical testing, A/B experimentation, and ML fundamentals.
- Excellent communicationable to explain complex results clearly to non-technical partners
