Hardware Test Engineer Compensation

· The pay for this position is $45 per hour

· Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

· A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Hardware Test Engineer Highlights

· This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

· The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift (fully onsite)

Hardware Test Engineer Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical lab bench testing and hardware validation
  • Set up and configure test systems and lab equipment
  • Review schematics and define test setups
  • Characterize hardware and document test procedures
  • Troubleshoot hardware and test setup issues independently
  • Utilize Linux command line tools for testing and analysis
  • Use Python for scripting and test support
  • Work with switching regulators, LDOs, and power systems
  • Prepare reports and clearly communicate technical findings

Hardware Test Engineer Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3–4 years of relevant experience OR approximately 6 years of experience without a degree
  • 3–4 years of experience in electrical lab bench testing
  • Strong Linux command line proficiency
  • Python experience
  • Ability to read schematics and define test setups
  • Knowledge of switching regulators, LDOs, and power systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and independent work skills
  • Ability to be physically present in the lab for hands-on testing
  • Clear technical communication skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Hardware Test Engineer Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SSD-related hardware or similar technologies
  • Background in hardware characterization or validation
  • Experience functioning at a highly skilled technician level
