Job DescriptionWe are a boutique law firm seeking a skilled Paralegal with experience in general civil litigation and personal injury, with the potential to gain probate experience, to join our team. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Draft, file, and manage pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, mediations, and depositions.
- Maintain case files and track/calendar important deadlines.
- Communicate with clients, courts, and all counsel in a professional manner.
- Conduct legal research using LexisNexis.
- Order, review, and organize medical and legal records.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation and/or personal injury (preferred).
- Knowledge of state and local court procedures; some federal experience may be required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software (Practice Panther).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
