Environmental & Land Use Mid-Level Associate Attorney –| $225k–$335k| Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
A leading AmLaw 100 firm has an immediate opening for an Environmental & Land Use Associate with 4–7 years of experience in its Washington, D.C. office. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced attorney with a strong interest in environmental regulatory compliance and enforcement.
About the Role
The associate will focus on:

Advising clients on compliance and enforcement matters under key environmental statutes, including:
-
Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA)
-
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)
-
-
Handling issues related to hazardous, solid, medical, pharmaceutical, and controlled substance waste.
-
Drafting legal documents and providing strategic guidance on complex regulatory issues.
Requirements
Licensed and in good standing with the Washington DC bar.
4–7 years of experience in environmental law, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA required.
Experience with waste management compliance (hazardous, solid, medical, pharmaceutical, or controlled substances) is preferred.
Excellent writing, research, and problem-solving skills.
Strong academic credentials and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
