Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. In this per diem/PRN role, Physical Therapy Assistant will play a vital part in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our residents, enhancing their lives and promoting overall well-being. Physical Therapy Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized treatment plans for our residents

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical status, identifying strengths and limitations

• Develop and implement effective treatment modalities, including exercises, stretches, and training programs

• Provide support and education to residents, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and strategies

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatment sessions and progress

• Meet and exceed quality and productivity standards

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) studies or related field

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the State of Missouri

• Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with seniors and their families

• Ability to lift, transfer, and support residents as needed
