Job Title: Supply Clerk I

Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports to:

Revision Date: July 31, 2025

Job Purpose: The Supply Clerk is responsible for managing inventory, distributing materials, and maintaining accurate stock levels to support production operations at SeaArk Boats. This role ensures that all departments have timely access to the tools, parts, and supplies needed to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

•Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies

•Issue parts and materials to production teams based on job orders or requests

•Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory management software

•Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories

•Organize and label stockroom shelves and bins for efficient access

•Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of low or out-of-stock items

•Assist with inventory reconciliation and discrepancy resolution

•Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment safely

•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment

Required Skills/Abilities:

•Experience in a marine or industrial manufacturing setting

•Knowledge of boat parts, tools, and materials

•Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems

•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

•Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

•Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems such as Epicor a plus

Education and Experience:

•High School diploma or equivalent preferred

•1+ year of experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply room operations (manufacturing environment preferred)


Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

•Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature occasionally.

•May involve working outdoors or in industrial environments

•Exposure to heat, noise, fumes, and hazardous materials

•Use of protective equipment such as gloves and safety glasses

•Must be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time.

•Must be able to lift 25 pounds when necessary.

•This is a safety sensitive position.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions, normal office environment or factory environment that is not climate controlled. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The factory in certain areas maintains a high fiberglass and dust environment.

Personal Protective Equipment might be required in certain areas of the factory including but not limited to safety glasses, respirator, hearing protection, gloves, and protective garments.


Employees in safety-sensitive positions must report to work fit for duty and must remain fit for duty throughout their workday. To be fit for duty, the employee must not be impaired by alcohol, illicit drugs, or medication.
