Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Traveling Track Hoe Operator for heavy civil construction projects. This position requires travel to job sites as assigned.

Pay: $50 per hour
Experience: Minimum five years operating a track hoe

Responsibilities:

Safely operate track hoes and other assigned heavy equipment
Perform excavation, trenching, grading, loading, and backfilling
Excavate around existing utilities safely and accurately
Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
Follow project plans, grade stakes, and directions from the superintendent
Maintain a safe and productive work area
Follow all company and job-site safety requirements
Work cooperatively with laborers, pipe crews, foremen, and other operators

Qualifications:

At least five years of track hoe operating experience
Heavy civil, underground utility, and excavation experience preferred
Ability to travel and remain out of town for assigned projects
Ability to work extended hours and weekends when required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong understanding of excavation and job-site safety
Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
