Job Summary: The Cage, Credit, and Count Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the casino cage, credit, and count room functions. This role ensures compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies while safeguarding assets and providing exceptional guest service. The manager leads and develops staff, manages financial transactions, and maintains accuracy and accountability across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Supervision
  • Direct, train, schedule, and evaluate Cage, Credit, and Count team members.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and customer service excellence.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and coverage across all shifts.
  • Cage Operations
  • Oversee cash handling, chip redemption, check cashing, and guest transactions.
  • Monitor and balance cash drawers, vaults, and cashier reports.
  • Ensure all cage procedures comply with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Credit Operations
  • Review, approve, and monitor casino credit applications and markers.
  • Establish and maintain patron credit accounts in accordance with policies.
  • Track, collect, and reconcile outstanding credit balances.
  • Count Room Operations
  • Oversee soft count processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, proper security protocols for transporting and storing funds.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, Title 31, and gaming regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial, compliance, and audit reports.
  • Collaborate with regulators, auditors, and internal departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in casino cage, credit, or count operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of gaming regulations, internal controls, and Title 31 compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in casino management systems, cash handling procedures,
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
