As a System Support Analyst I, you’ll be at the front line of that mission, guiding our healthcare partners through complex technical issues, optimizing system performance, and ensuring their critical medical imaging tools operate seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality technical support for both server-side and client-side applications in complex medical imaging environments.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and ticketing systems, while proactively monitoring installations and identifying potential issues before they escalate.
- Prioritize and manage tasks in line with service level agreements (SLAs), escalating incidents to the appropriate teams when needed.
- Analyze and troubleshoot integrated environments involving Linux servers, Windows workstations, databases, and network infrastructure.
- Perform remote diagnostics using tools like SSH and VPN to investigate and resolve technical problems.
- Execute SQL queries and conduct database maintenance on platforms like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Sybase.
- Edit configuration files and scripts on Linux servers to fine-tune system performance and reliability.
- Serves as a client advocate through product and implementation improvement collaboration.
- Log and document all activities and outcomes using ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously contribute to our knowledge base, support tools, and internal documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years in a technical support or systems administration role with a strong Linux background.
- Solid experience in remote troubleshooting (SSH, VPN tunnels) and diagnosing system/network issues.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase).
- Familiarity with Windows environments (basic workstation configuration and troubleshooting).
- Strong communication and client-facing skills, with a passion for solving problems and delivering solutions.
- Excellent time-management, analytical, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in the healthcare IT or medical imaging industry (e.g., PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7).
- Hands-on experience with the deployment and integration of Healthcare IT solutions in On-Premises, Hybrid, and Cloud environments.
- Exposure to scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell for automation and system management.
- Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, IPSec, and VPN technologies.

The base pay for this position ranges from $64,000/year to $85,000/year within any geographic market in the USA. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Intelerad is a total compensation company. Pay is dependent on the position offered. Bonus and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, retirement, PTO, and/or other benefits.
