Professional Opportunity – Asset Management Associate – Real Estate
Keystone National Group is seeking an experienced Associate/ Analyst to assist in real estate loan asset management. The new hire will be joining a tight-knit team that manages a $2.5 billion and growing portfolio of investments across the United States. The Associate will work directly with senior team members in a collaborative, dynamic environment, focusing on managing the performance of real estate construction and acquisition loans in the multi-family, industrial, retail, self-storage, carwash, and hospitality asset classes.

Our growing team manages multiple investment funds, separate accounts, and co-investment vehicles on behalf of investors, which include family offices, wealth management firms, pension plans and private individuals. Keystone is headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT with an additional office in Dallas, TX. The Associate/ Analyst will be based in our Salt Lake City office.

Job Description: The Associate will assist senior management with managing and monitoring the performance of real estate loans.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Actively monitor and manage financial and operational performance across a portfolio of commercial real estate loans.
• Interact directly with clients to discuss progress and performance; and assist, where needed, with onsite diligence and inspection trips.
• Examine, monitor, and evaluate client compliance with loan covenants.
• Monitor ground up construction and development projects, and coordinate/ facilitate release of lender funding for construction draws.
• Implement loss mitigation plans and procedures and, when required, assist in restructuring or workout scenarios.
• Build custom Excel models to analyze financial metrics and assess risk profiles across the portfolio.
• Prepare periodic portfolio performance presentations for fund investors and management.
• Contribute meaningfully to investment committee meetings with senior members of the firm.
Professional Experience Requirements / Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, construction management, property management; demonstrating a track record of outstanding academic performance.
• Three+ years of professional experience in asset management, property management, risk management, private equity or private credit, commercial lending, financial or management consulting, or other similar experience relevant to private corporate real estate lending.
• Mastery of Excel with ability to analyze financial statements, construction draws, and construction pay application documentation.
• Prior experience and/or comfort with loan documentation, preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey complex analysis effectively.
• Driven, collaborative, team player able to learn quickly, assume significant responsibility and accountability, and adapt to rapidly changing market opportunities and conditions.
• Willingness to periodically travel to perform onsite visits and meet with clients across the country.
