Job SummaryAs a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that a full line of products is well-stocked, rotated, and visually appealing at local retail locations. This hands-on role involves driving your personal vehicle to assigned stores, transporting products from storage to sales floors, setting up promotional displays, and supporting overall in-store brand presence. The role requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and in various weather conditions based on customer schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive your personal vehicle to assigned store locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Check in and out with store managers at each location
- Transport products from the back room to the sales floor and restock shelves, coolers, and display units
- Ensure products are front-facing, organized, and properly rotated (FIFO)
- Remove and discard damaged or expired inventory
- Maintain cleanliness of product areas and promotional displays
- Assemble and dismantle promotional displays and signage as directed
- Follow safety standards and company policies at all times
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Personal vehicle in good working condition
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling)
- Must wear steel-toe boots and other PPE as required
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with store personnel
- Reliable and self-motivated with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous merchandising or retail experience is a plus
- Familiarity with product rotation and shelf-stocking best practices
