Right at Home is looking for a dependable, proactive Home Care Scheduler to join our Modesto team!

We are a locally owned in-home care agency with a strong team culture and a commitment to exceptional care. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position for someone who can independently manage caregiver schedules, build positive relationships, and help ensure our clients receive consistent, reliable care.

What You'll Do

Scheduling & Caregiver Coordination

  • Match caregivers with clients based on care needs, skills, availability, location, and personality compatibility.

  • Respond to call-offs, schedule changes, new client needs, and unexpected staffing challenges.

  • Proactively identify scheduling gaps and resolve issues before they impact client care.

  • Maintain accurate caregiver availability, scheduling preferences, and time-off requests.

  • Prioritize continuity of care while monitoring caregiver hours, overtime, and scheduling efficiency.

Communication & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary contact for caregivers regarding scheduling and assignments.

  • Communicate scheduling updates promptly with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff.

  • Build positive relationships while balancing client needs, caregiver availability, and business priorities.

  • Address scheduling concerns professionally and work collaboratively with management to resolve challenges.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and caregiver information in our home care management software.

  • Monitor electronic visit verification and timekeeping records, resolve discrepancies, and assist with payroll accuracy.

  • Assist with tracking caregiver certifications, compliance requirements, and onboarding.

  • Answer incoming calls and provide general office support as needed.

  • Participate in assigned after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities.

  • Experience with WellSky Personal Care (formerly ClearCare) is a plus.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

  • Availability for assigned after-hours or weekend on-call responsibilities.
