We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in auto body repair, panel replacement, utilizing hand tools and specialized equipment to return vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This includes but is not limited to:
***Must have a MINIMUM of 5 years in a body shop.
***Must have your own tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal and panel replacement
- Pre-wash vehicle before work
- Post-wash vehicle and soft detail before delivery
- Follow provided estimates and then create supplements as a team -- BLUEPRINTING
- MIG Welding and other forms of welding
- Mirror Matching of parts and making sure they are the correct part for the vehicle
- Quality Check of repairs done
- Shop cleaning, keeping your area clean (sweeping and mopping) especially after delivering a vehicle
- Working closely with our team for successful work completed!
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid License for vehicle operation
- Background check
- Must have a MINIMUM of 5 years in a body shop.
- Must have your own tools.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and use of shop tools/equipment appropriately and safely
- Must be able to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Must be able to read and understand instructions on estimates, supplements and machines or tools.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to communicate ideas or views to coworkers.
- Must be competant to work with minimal supervision.
