AN - MS Stroke Stepdown
\n
Job Details:
\n
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n • Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
\n • Floating to other units is required
\n • Scrub color: Navy Blue
\n • Care for adult patients on a Medical Surgical Stroke Stepdown unit with 64 beds
\n • Common diagnoses include stroke, altered mental status, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
\n • Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes
\n • Minimum 2+ years of experience in medical surgical with stroke stepdown experience required
\n • Travel experience required
\n • EMR experience with EPIC required
\n • Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS (NIH certification is required for this unit and can be obtained prior to start)
\n • Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
\n • Skills checklist matching specialty required
