Full-time days Mon.-Friday
Job Summary:
As a RN Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for providing general orientation to new employees, clinical competency training and evaluation of nursing staff, and implementing education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants. You will work closely with guest educators to coordinate programs, such as IVs and Respiratory, and provide in-service education to all employees as needed. Responsibilities and Duties:
• General Orientation of all new employees
• Clinical Competency training and evaluation of nursing staff
• Coordination of guest educators for programs, such as IVs and Respiratory
• Implementation of education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants per the education calendar
• In-service education of all employees as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
• Enthusiasm and eagerness to teach
• Clinical competency with basic nursing care
• Ability to work independently and anticipate educational need with motivation to start education
• Eagerness to learn new skills and participate in the Train the Trainer programs
Requirements/Qualifications:
• 1-year experience in Long-term care
• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse
• CPR certified
