Billing Coordinator- Must have Legal Experience

We are seeking a Billing Coordinator to support a finance function with the preparation and processing of client invoices. This role is well suited for a detail‐oriented billing professional with experience in professional services environments. The position will provide critical support to ensure billing operations run smoothly during a period of transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process client invoices in accordance with established guidelines
- Partner with internal professionals and support staff to ensure accurate time entry and billing narratives
- Ensure adherence to client billing requirements, including e‐billing submissions and LEDES formats where applicable
- Review pre‐bills and assist with edits prior to final invoice issuance
- Track billing deadlines and follow up on outstanding or incomplete information
- Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation
- Assist with billing reports and provide general support to the accounting team as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in billing, preferably within a professional services environment
- Familiarity with e‐billing platforms and LEDES billing formats is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and billing systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
