Job DescriptionOur hotel is unique as we are the only full-service hotel resort in the Miami Lakes area. Located on Main Street, you can enjoy a variety of upscale shops, a 17-Cineplex movie theater, and over a dozen restaurants all just steps away from our door.

WORK OBJECTIVE:

Night Auditor is responsible for front desk duties at the Miami Lakes Hotel on Main during the night shift. Their duties include helping guest’s check-in or check out, reviewing guest payments and other details from the day shift to ensure guests provided payment for their stay or any additional requests and acting as a point of communication for customer needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Balancing the accounts from day shift.
  • Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up-calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference.
  • Handling customer requests and complaints and directing other employees or departments accordingly.
  • Creating invoices, bills and checks for vendors, employees, and contractors.
  • Managing and updating all official documentation pertaining to the role.
  • Ensuring that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments.
  • Answering calls and queries related to potential booking.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Education:

  • High School diploma - preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to perform computer- based task such as data entry, accounting, word processing, invoicing, and billing.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • OPERA knowledge a plus.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the company.
  • Clear and professional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks, demands, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials.
  • Must possess ability to conduct research and work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and follow through.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
