Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a key member of the general ultrasound team, you'll gain experience with a broad patient population, performing both adult and pediatric scans while assisting with biopsies. This assignment focuses on general ultrasound only (no vascular or echo), providing ample opportunity to refine and hone your ultrasound and general X-ray skills—a strong addition to any resume. Schedule/Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm
  • On-call rotation: one weekday night per week, every fourth weekend, and holiday rotation
  • 8–9 hour shifts, cyclic scheduling
  • One week of comprehensive orientation (M–F, 8:00 am–4:30 pm)

Qualifications

  • Certified in Ultrasound (ARRT and ARDMS required)
  • X-ray experience essential
  • Current BLS certification
  • Valid driver's license (50-mile radius requirement)
  • Experience with Siemens ultrasound equipment preferred
  • Proficiency in adult and pediatric general ultrasound studies
  • Artificial nails prohibited in patient care

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct general ultrasound (no vascular/echo)
  • Perform adult, pediatric, and biopsy studies
  • Rotate call shifts (weekday, weekend, holiday)
  • Collaborate with radiology supervisor and staff
  • Document studies via EPIC and McKesson systems
