️ Job Title: Store Manager – Mobility & Accessibility Retail (Full-Time)
Location: Evansville, IN
Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer experience. This role requires a blend of operational leadership, product knowledge, and compassionate service.
- Lead all aspects of store operations including opening/closing, scheduling, and cash handling
- Achieve sales targets through customer engagement and consultative selling
- Maintain showroom presentation and ensure accessibility standards are met
- Oversee product demonstrations and coordinate in-home assessments when needed
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
- Hire, train, and supervise staff with a focus on empathy and product expertise
- Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and community service
- Conduct regular performance reviews and staff development sessions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in healthcare, mobility retail
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with mobility products and ADA compliance (training provided)
- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment safely (with support tools)
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software, and basic Microsoft Office tools
- Passion for serving seniors and people with disabilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable with hands-on product demos and technical troubleshooting
- Bilingual skills a plus
