You will become an expert in a range of grinding processes including:

Grinding between centers

Chucking OD grinding

Chucking ID grinding
Operate Grinding Equipment
You will operate a variety of grinding machines including:
Kellenberger Kel-Vista (3 machines)

CNC conversational programming
-
Multi-tool setups
Kellenberger Kel-Vita
- Same as above withnon-round grinding capability
Jones & Shipman CNC Grinder

Conversational programming
-
Between-centers grinding
-
Track job time accurately through job clock-in/clock-out

Follow scheduled job lists created by the supervisor

Work closely withQuality Assurance technicianson critical inspections

Handle customer components with extreme care to minimize scrap

Maintain a strong focus onquality and efficiency
You should be proficient in:
- CNC Programming
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
- Manual Machining Skills
