Job Details
Responsibilities
1. Drafting and editing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
2. Managing the Efile process, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and on time.
3. Conducting comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
4. Scheduling and calendaring court dates, meetings, and deadlines, ensuring all parties are kept informed.
5. Collaborating with attorneys to prepare for trials, depositions, and hearings.
6. Organizing and maintaining case files and legal databases.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in the tech services industry.
2. Proficiency in drafting, filing, scheduling, Efile, legal research, calendaring, and pleadings.
3. A paralegal certificate or equivalent legal qualification.
4. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, and procedures.
5. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
