M.H. EBY, Inc, a leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers and truck bodies, is looking for a full time Parts Representative to join our growing company. Candidates are required to have point of purchase customer service & computer experience, as well as excellent people skills. Candidates should thrive in a fast-moving environment. Previous experience in ag or related field is preferred but not required.
Schedule: 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday

General Purpose:
Handle parts sales, process sales orders, and assist with parts cutting as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively within a team environment.
- Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures.
- Serve as the first point of contact for parts inquiries and counter sales.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibit active listening and problem-solving abilities in response to customer inquiries.
- Process UPS shipment requests and create bills of lading for freight shipments.
- Use computer systems for data entry, internet access, and order processing.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings as needed.
- Complete sales transactions and process payments accurately.
- Assist customers at the parts counter by selling parts and fulfilling orders (retrieving parts from inventory).
- Take and process orders for fabricated parts, such as toolboxes.
- Communicate customer order requests to the engineering team.
- Assist in the shipping and receiving of freight orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Be proactive, take initiative, and be accountable for actions and outcomes.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools and various equipment to assist customers with their orders.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with customer service & computers
- Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
- Great communication skills
- Willing to pull parts from other buildings/outdoors
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- Must be legal to work in the USA
- Must pass a 4-panel drug screen prior to employment
