This is a dynamic opportunity to bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer success. As a Solutions Architect, you’ll collaborate directly with prospects and clients to showcase the impact of a modern analytics platform, providing technical expertise and guiding data teams through real-world use cases. Your influence will shape pre-sales strategies, refine internal processes, and drive product adoption in fast-growing organizations. The ideal candidate combines technical acumen, strong communication skills, and a passion for empowering data practitioners. This hybrid role requires in-office presence twice a week in Austin, TX.
Accountabilities
- Lead pre-sales engagements to understand customer needs, uncover data challenges, and demonstrate the business value of cloud analytics solutions.
- Deliver technical demonstrations and consultative workshops tailored to client use cases.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to support strategic deal cycles and build strong customer relationships.
- Maintain post-sale engagement with technical stakeholders, identifying opportunities for growth and risk mitigation.
- Represent the voice of the customer to cross-functional teams and help shape product priorities.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives including the creation of live demos, educational content, blog posts, and tutorials.
- Refine internal playbooks and team processes to improve sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, engineering, or consulting roles within modern data ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of modern data stack technologies and architectures; strong SQL proficiency is essential.
- Familiarity with analytics engineering principles and hands-on experience with dbt is highly preferred (certification a plus).
- Previous exposure to pre-sales, customer success, or externally facing technical roles.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort navigating fast-paced, evolving environments and solving problems with limited structure.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to travel for key events or customer engagements.
- Bonus: Advanced SQL or Python skills and experience with traditional ETL tools.
