We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join a respected workers’ compensation defense practice in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Responsibilities:

• Oversee a docket of workers’ compensation defense matters from initial assignment through final resolution, including negotiated outcomes and hearings.

• Represent clients at workers’ compensation proceedings in assigned jurisdictions, appearing in person or through virtual platforms as needed.

• Draft, review, and submit motions, pleadings, briefs, and related legal filings in a timely and accurate manner.

• Communicate case developments, hearing results, and strategic recommendations to clients with consistency and care.

• Coordinate case activity across several venues while maintaining organized files, deadlines, and litigation priorities.

• Work closely with support staff to move matters forward efficiently and deliver responsive service to clients

• At least 3 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation-oriented practice.

• Background in workers’ compensation matters is preferred; candidates with related experience and a strong interest in this area may also be considered.

• Active attorney license and ability to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a busy caseload with limited day-to-day supervision.

• Strong legal writing skills, including experience preparing motions, briefs, and other formal case documents.

• Solid verbal communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain developments clearly and professionally.

• Willingness to travel to court venues when required.

• Experience with civil litigation procedures, discovery, and case strategy development is highly valued.
