Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of our production machines and facilities. This role involves electrical installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Run conduit and install breakers for electrical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all production machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Identify mechanical problems by observing, listening, and testing equipment.
- Reduce downtime by teaching and monitoring maintenance practices.
- Manage equipment and parts inventory; order and track supplies.
- Create maintenance reports with collected data and trends.
- Respond to emergencies quickly and follow safety procedures.
- Stay updated by attending workshops and reading technical materials.
- Keep work area safe and clean by following company guidelines.
- Perform facilities maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, and wiring.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical repair and troubleshooting.
- Experience in preventive maintenance.
- Ability to identify mechanical problems using observation and testing.
- Strong inventory management skills.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
- Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and wiring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work with technicians via phone to schedule repairs.

Work Environment
Work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6:30am to 5:00pm. Flexibility is required to work on Fridays as needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Powder Springs, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
