We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Relocation Project Coordinator to support the reorganization and consolidation of existing facilities, as well as the opening of new facilities. This role involves managing various aspects of relocation projects, including documentation, procurement, vendor coordination, and the installation of furniture and equipment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and proficiency in computer software.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate paperwork and subcontracts involved in relocation projects.
  • Regularly report work status to the Project Manager for timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Utilize strong computer software skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), electronic calendars (Outlook), and Bluebeam, Teams.
  • Possess knowledge of building assessments, move schedules, inventory tracking, and development.
  • Manage the development of movers' and other vendors' Scopes of Work.
  • Maintain records of moves and any damages caused by movers.
  • Maintain project documentation, coordinate schedules, and provide on-site supervision of move activities.
  • Assist with moving budgets, development of the move sequence schedule, and furniture, systems, and equipment reuse plans.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience supporting federal clients with relocation or moving support or consolidation.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent specialized experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in maintaining project documentation, coordinating schedules, and providing on-site supervision of move activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Availability to travel as needed.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and effectively deal with changing priorities while meeting crucial deadlines.
  • Prior experience with federal contracts is highly desired.
  • Prior experience in supporting multiple mid to large projects.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Work Environment

This position is 100% in-office at the client site, requiring a professional and adaptable approach to working within the client's environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
