Title: Real Estate Attorney
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Our client is one of California’s premier Am200 law firms, recognized for its market-leading real estate practice and deep industry expertise. The firm represents developers, investors, lenders, landlords, tenants, REITs, and institutional clients in some of the state’s most sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. They are seeking a Real Estate Attorney with 2+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience and a demonstrated interest in the real estate industry to join our growing Irvine office.
Position Overview:
As a member of the client's Real Estate Practice Group, you will work on a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, representing developers, investors, lenders, and property owners throughout the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, and disposition of commercial properties.
This role offers direct client interaction, mentorship from experienced attorneys, and the opportunity to build a long-term career within one of California's leading real estate practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, easements, and related transactional documents.
- Conduct legal due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental review.
- Advise clients on commercial leasing matters for office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use properties.
- Assist with real estate development projects, including joint ventures and entity structuring.
- Coordinate transaction closings and manage post-closing matters.
- Collaborate with clients, lenders, brokers, consultants, and opposing counsel to successfully complete transactions.
- Conduct legal research and provide practical business-oriented legal advice.
- Maintain strong client relationships while managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
- 2+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial real estate agreements.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between [$250,000 – $400,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
