Commercial Real Estate Attorney - Senior Associate or Counsel

Job Description

Our client, a top real estate litigation firm, is seeking to add to their team, either a senior associate or counsel level attorney, who has seven or more years of sophisticated experience in a busy real estate litigation practice. Working alongside an empowering team, this role is for a serious minded litigator interested in playing a broader role within a practice representing many of New York's leading owners, developers, investors, landlords, management companies, and other commercial real estate stakeholders in sophisticated and high stakes disputes.

You will be working on complex commercial real estate disputes, construction litigation, partnership and joint venture disputes, commercial landlord tenant matters, business torts, contract disputes, Yellowstone injunctions, lease enforcement matters, and other high stakes commercial litigation.

The successful candidate will bring substantial experience handling motion practice, depositions, discovery, hearings, arbitrations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation, along with the judgment and maturity to independently manage active matters while working closely with clients, partners, experts, and others.

Compensation ranges from $220,000 to $250,000, plus bonus, a percentage of originations, and an excellent benefits package. New York Bar admission is required.
