Job Details:
\n
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
\n • Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
\n • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS
\n • Epic (Cupid) charting system experience required; also uses Pyxis and SBAR
\n • Scrubs provided by the facility
\n • Manage 3 rooms
\n • Every other weekend required unless specified otherwise
\n • Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
\n • Call requirements include STEMI coverage on weekends and weekdays
\n • Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed, including throughout all areas of the Cath Lab
\n • Holiday work expectations: if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
\n • Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
\n • Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
\n • Required skills include: cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac cath lab, left and right heart catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), rotablator atherectomy, ventricular assist device insertion, Watchman, ASD closures, cardiac implant closure device, vascular closure systems, temporary pacemaker, fluoroscopy, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, scrub to maintain sterile field, and use of rapid response/code teams
