Purpose of Role
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Ensures our applications are delivered securely, reliably, and at scale. Collaborates with development, QA, and operations teams to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Designs, builds, and maintains automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for application deployment.
- Implements and manages Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions with ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Ensures system availability, scalability, and performance through monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
- Identifies and resolves infrastructure bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and operational issues.
- Integrates automated testing and validation into deployment workflows.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve release processes and operational reliability.
- Manages containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Instances.
- Champions adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code practices (Terraform / AWS CDK) with version control, modularization, and automated testing.
- Participates in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related infrastructure engineering roles.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure services (App Service, Functions, SQL Database, Storage, Virtual Machines, Active Directory).
- Proficiency with IaC tools (ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration platforms (Azure Kubernetes Service / AKS).
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Familiarity with configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Experience with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Harness, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and Azure security best practices.
- Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
- Proficient in version control using Git.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is ($78,500 - $130,700) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
