Apprentice / HVAC Helper
Job Description
Job Description
If you want to learn HVAC the right way beside people who actually teach, you'd belong here.
All-Pro is a family shop.
We look out for each other, we do quality work for Boca Raton homeowners and businesses, and we help helpers become techs.
All-Pro Electrical and Air Conditioning has been a trusted local contractor since 1995.
We handle residential and commercial air conditioning, electrical, indoor air quality, and pool heater service across Boca Raton and nearby Palm Beach and Broward communities.
Our differentiator is cross-training: many techs understand both HVAC and electrical, which makes diagnosis stronger and the learning path wider for you.
Family culture.
Owner-operator energy.
Steady standards without the corporate fluff.
Weekday schedule.
No weekends.
No on-call.
What You'll Get:
- $16-$20/hr depending on experience (based on local market)
- Overtime at 1.5x
- Monthly performance pay incentive
- Health insurance after 6 months (employee pays 50% of premium; employee-only coverage)
- 7 paid holidays
- 1 week paid vacation
- Weekly mandatory paid training
- Costco membership
- Uniforms provided
- Path to become a full HVAC Technician (and optional electrical cross-training)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting HVAC technicians on service, maintenance, and install calls
- Helping with equipment handling, materials, cleanup, and job-site prep
- Learning diagnostics, refrigerant basics, airflow, and customer communication
- Supporting indoor air quality and related work as needed
- Keeping the work area stocked, clean, and ready for the next call
- Completing apprenticeship enrollment and training as you grow
- Building habits that turn into a long-term trade career
- Attending weekly paid training
Who We're Looking For:
You work hard, listen well, and care about doing things right.
You are not looking for a temporary gig.
You want a real trade path and a crew that has your back.
Beyond that:
- Must be enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) an HVAC apprenticeship / helper training path
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable in attics, outdoors, and South Florida heat/humidity
- Able to help move equipment and work on ladders
- EPA 608 not required to start (a plus if you have it)
- Prior HVAC helper, install helper, or mechanical experience is a plus
If you don't check every box but think you'd be a good fit, apply anyway.
We hire attitude and train skills.
