What You’ll Do
- Lead the Way: Serve as lead counsel in administrative hearings and state court proceedings to enforce civil rights.

- Provide Expert Advice: Guide investigators and staff on the Fair Housing Act, Title VII, ADA, and ADEA.
- Brief Leadership: Update the Commissioner and Governing Board on emerging legal risks and policy shifts.
- Educate the Community: Design and deliver in-house training and represent the agency at community events.
What You Bring
- Education: A Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Credentials: You must be a member in good standing with the South Carolina Bar.
- Experience: Previous experience as a practicing attorney is essential.
- People Skills: Since this role involves constant public contact, strong communication is a must.
