<h3>Job Description</h3>
Our client, a leading apparel and sporting goods manufacturing company, is looking for a Category Merchandiser. This is for an initial duration of 4 months and is located in Beaverton, OR.
 
Job Type: Contract (Candidates must be able to work on W2 without VISA sponsorship)
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Looking for someone with more corporate side retail experience, unless the store level retail person has experience with planning, buying, merchandising, reporting.</li>
</ul>
 
What You Bring: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a combination of relevant experience </li>
<li>2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, or relevant experience </li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of consumer and marketplace </li>
<li>Entrepreneurial spirit, experience working on new projects/start-ups/concepts/ideas </li>
<li>Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends </li>
<li>Attention to detail </li>
<li>Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities </li>
<li>Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners </li>
<li>Team first mentality, energy giver</li>
