Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer – Automation position for our client.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 26 months

Overview:
Quality Engineer with strong automation expertise to design, build, and execute automated testing solutions in a banking/financial services environment. The role focuses on test automation frameworks, API testing, and integration with Agile and DevOps delivery pipelines.

Key Duties:

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts

• Execute automated test suites and analyze results

• Perform API and integration testing

• Apply combinatorial test design techniques to improve coverage

• Support CI/CD and DevOps testing initiatives

• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams

Required Skills:

• Banking industry experience

• Combinatorial Test Design (IGNITE, Hexawise)

• Automation tools: Selenium frameworks, Karate, Postman

• Basic SQL for data validation

• Java and/or Python

• API integration and testing

Experience:

• 5+ years in QA with a strong focus on test automation

• Agile and DevOps environment experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
