Senior Paralegal Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Paralegal Manager to join our top-notch legal team in our Washington D.C. office. This role is designed for an experienced paralegal who remains committed to client representation and is ready to take their career to the next level by becoming part of our leadership. The role will entail managing and supporting a talented and experienced team of paralegals, many of whom have dedicated significant years to our Firm. The ideal candidate will spend about 50% of their time on case work, and the remaining 50% on management, including training paralegals, improving efficiencies and internal processes, and promoting collaboration and improved communication across the legal team. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
- Supervise, mentor, and support paralegals
- Manage caseloads
- Lead onboarding, training, and performance feedback
Casework
- Manage complex immigration cases under supervision of attorneys
- Draft filings, legal documents, and client communications
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all filings
Operations & Process Improvement
- Improve workflows and case management processes
- Monitor policy updates and maintain templates
- Support use and optimization of case management system, Filevine
Required Education, Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of immigration paralegal experience
- 4+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of immigration law and procedures
- Experience managing complex, high-volume caseloads
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Experience with legal research tools and case management systems
- Spanish preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $87,000 – $117,000
Benefits include: PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) with firm contribution, paid parental leave, and excellent healthcare options; participation in annual office-wide celebrations in Washington, DC
Work Environment
- Hybrid (Washington, DC – 3 full days in office)
- Full-time (40+ hours/week as needed)
