Tiffany’s Wine & Spirits is a family-owned specialty wine, spirits, and gourmet food store serving the Greater Kalamazoo community for over 40 years. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead daily store operations, support our team, and maintain the high level of service our customers trust. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys being on the sales floor and running a business with an owner’s mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations with a visible, hands-on presence
- Hire, train, schedule, and support floor staff and cashiers
- Deliver exceptional customer service through leadership and product knowledge
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Manage payroll and basic financial reporting (QuickBooks or similar) • Ensure compliance with MLCC regulations and food safety standards
- Maintain store standards, merchandising, and facilities
Qualifications
- Proven retail management experience (hands-on required)
- Strong working knowledge of wine and spirits
- Introductory or Certified Sommelier required
- ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
- High integrity, accountability, and professionalism
- Must pass a background check
