Who you are:

Security-Cleared Professional: Must hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or Top Secret Clearance.

Education: Bachelors Degree in a STEM-related field OR HS Diploma with 7+ years of lab management or systems administration experience.
Experience Requirements:
-
6+ years as a Cloud Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, or similar role.
-
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience.
-
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
-
Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
-
Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
Desired Skills:
-
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).

Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) administration.
-
Understanding of networking and security best practices in cloud environments.
-
Familiarity with containerization/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Certifications:
-
DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II certification (desired).
What youll do:
-
Design, implement, and test cloud-based infrastructure and services, with a focus on Red Hat-based systems across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Deploy and test scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Red Hat technologies.

Implement and test IaaS/PaaS solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible, Terraform, or Red Hat Satellite.

Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
-
Apply advanced analytical skills and technical resources at tactical levels to support command decision-making and mission execution.

Automate infrastructure tasks using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible or Terraform.

Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in lab environments.
-
Stay current with Open Shift and Kubernetes advancements, recommending improvements.
-
Identify and propose efficiencies to existing procedures (with customer approval).
