Who you are:

  • Security-Cleared Professional: Must hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or Top Secret Clearance.

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in a STEM-related field OR HS Diploma with 7+ years of lab management or systems administration experience.

Experience Requirements:

  • 6+ years as a Cloud Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, or similar role.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).

  • Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).

  • Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) administration.

  • Understanding of networking and security best practices in cloud environments.

  • Familiarity with containerization/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

Certifications:

  • DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II certification (desired).

What youll do:

  • Design, implement, and test cloud-based infrastructure and services, with a focus on Red Hat-based systems across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

  • Deploy and test scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Red Hat technologies.

  • Implement and test IaaS/PaaS solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible, Terraform, or Red Hat Satellite.

  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with standards and policies.

  • Apply advanced analytical skills and technical resources at tactical levels to support command decision-making and mission execution.

  • Automate infrastructure tasks using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible or Terraform.

  • Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in lab environments.

  • Stay current with Open Shift and Kubernetes advancements, recommending improvements.

  • Identify and propose efficiencies to existing procedures (with customer approval).
