What You'll Do
As a Manufacturing Solder Technician, you'll be responsible for assembling and soldering high-quality electronic products used by customers around the world.
Responsibilities
- Hand solder through-hole and surface-mount electronic components.
- Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs), wiring harnesses, connectors, and cable assemblies.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Inspect solder joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform PCB rework and repairs as needed.
- Accurately document completed work and inspection results.
- Safely operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work area.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous soldering or electronics assembly experience preferred, but not required.
- Technical training or IPC certification is a plus.
- Experience using soldering irons and hand tools.
- Ability to read work instructions and assembly documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to work with small components requiring fine motor skills.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
