Cyclonaire is looking for a Welder/Fabricator 1 to join our production team in York, Nebraska. Whether you have some welding experience or are just getting started in the trade, this is an opportunity to develop your skills while helping build industrial equipment used by customers around the world.

You’ll work alongside experienced team members while learning Cyclonaire’s welding and fabrication processes, quality standards, and equipment. If you take pride in doing good work, enjoy working with your hands, and are willing to learn, we want to hear from you.

Previous welding or fabrication experience is preferred—but it is not required.

What You’ll Do

  • Fabricate metal components using MIG welding, drilling, grinding, sawing, and other fabrication techniques
  • Read and follow technical drawings, shop orders, and work instructions
  • Measure accurately and fabricate parts to specification
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic fit-up, fabrication, and welding issues
  • Perform basic repairs on welding and fabrication equipment
  • Complete daily equipment checks
  • Work with production leads, Engineering, and Quality to make sure parts are built accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Continue developing your welding and fabrication skills as part of the Cyclonaire team

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform accurate measurements
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to follow technical drawings, shop orders, and work instructions
  • Willingness and ability to safely use hand and power tools
  • Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team while meeting quality and production expectations
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds independently and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing position

Previous welding, fabrication, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.

Location & Schedule

York, Nebraska – Onsite
Full-Time | Hourly, Non-Exempt | 40+ Hours/Week
