Job Title:Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Location:Atlanta, GA 30363 OR Washington, DC 20037
Salary/Payrate:$100k to $130k bonus and AWESOME benefits!!!
Work Environment:- 100% onsite for first 90 days.They will do a 90-day review and will be eligible for 2 works from home.
Hours: Full-time; Monday Friday, 9:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m. with 1 hour for lunch
Billable hourly requirements: 1500 to be bonus eligible
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Term:Permanent / Fulltime
Referral Bonus: $500 - should your referral start with our client

Am Law 200 law firm is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support D.C. and Atlanta offices who will provide high-level paralegal support to attorneys in the firms Real Estate Practice and the affordable housing team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of ten (10) years experience as a paralegal with heavy emphasis on real estate transactions in a law firm or in the real estate industry.

- Commercial and/or developer experience
Overall Responsibilities:
Primary duties will include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Draft entity formation documents, such as articles of organization, certificates of limited partnership, articles of incorporation, bylaws and operating agreements
- Title and survey due diligence, including review and analysis of title commitments, title documents and surveys to identify title objections, as well as interacting directly with Title Agent and Surveyor to facilitate revisions of title and survey
- Manage due diligence process
- Organize documentation for financing and government review submissions
- Draft real estate acquisition closing documents
- Draft consent resolutions
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients to ensure the expeditious gathering of facts and information
- Organize and manage closing process
- Compile signature packets for real estate transactions and coordinate their execution and distribution, including tracking signature status and ensuring timely completion and delivery to all relevant parties
- File and document organization and maintenance; create new folders and maintain existing folders utilizing an automated records management system; organize files for off-site storage, as well as active file maintenance
- Assemble closing binders
- Daily client contact
- Overtime will be required on occasion
- Other duties/tasks as assigned
Required skills:
- Must have continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing and managing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and self-initiation
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex closing processes and multi-party communication.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including document automation tools and other legal tech platforms
Education and Experience Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience as a real estate paralegal in a mid-size or large law firm with a focus on real estate transactions, closings, and due diligence
- Bachelors Degree or ABA approved paralegal certificate highly desired
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe software programs, with familiarity in using document management systems and electronic signature platforms
