Honorable Mention is an elevated sports bar delivering a refined yet approachable game-day experience, opening late February/Early march 2026. Role Summary
Hosts set the tone for the guest experience and manage the flow of the restaurant in a no-reservation environment while protecting service balance and VIP accommodations.


Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival
• Operate and manage a digital or manual waitlist
• Accurately quote wait times and communicate delays
• Manage server rotation and table assignments
• Maintain balance between dining room sections
• Hold and manage tables reserved for VIP guests
• Communicate clearly with servers and management
• Maintain an organized host stand and entrance area

• Ability to manage guest expectations during peak times
