Overview
We’re seeking a full-time Concierge & Security Lead to serve as the welcoming face of 368 Broome Street — a boutique office and hospitality building operated by AlleyCorp. This person will play a central role in creating a warm, professional, and secure environment for tenants and guests alike. The ideal candidate brings both hospitality polish and operational reliability: someone who greets visitors with care, manages building procedures with precision, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Greet all tenants and guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive and professional first impression of the building.
• Manage daily check-ins and visitor registrations, assisting guests with registration or access as needed.
• Coordinate with tenants and event teams for daytime programming and special events, assisting with guest flow and setup when required.
• Monitor building activity and security systems throughout the day; report or address any irregularities.
• Conduct at least two walkthroughs of the building per day (including exterior areas) and record any maintenance or security concerns.
• Maintain security and visitor logs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Communicate regularly with the Building Superintendent and Property Manager regarding maintenance issues, vendor access, or emergencies.
• Assist with contractor and vendor access, deliveries, and on-site coordination.
• Provide coverage for the Building Superintendent during PTO, including oversight of cleaning staff, contractor supervision, and minor maintenance (e.g., light bulb replacements).
• Maintain familiarity with fire and life safety procedures; participate in ongoing safety training.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a front desk, hospitality, or concierge role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; naturally warm and professional demeanor.
• Reliability and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively.
• Basic technical skills to operate security camera systems and digital visitor management software.
• Willingness to obtain NYC Certificates of Fitness required for building operations:
• • S-12 (Sprinklers)
  • S-13 (Standpipes)
  • S-95 (Fire Alarm Panel)
  • F-89 (Fire and Life Safety Director)
